Francis turbines of both vertical and horizontal types are suitable for water head from 15"m to 400m. Its feature is that the water flow enters the runner inward in a radial direction, changes direction gradually and then passes out axially. Francis turbine is characterized by reliable operation, simple construction and hight efficiency, etc.
For Francis turbine, Pelton turbine and hydrogenerator unit, Shaoyang Hengyuan awarded as "CEEIA certificate on the quality credibility product", The certificate is a certificate on quality credibility products that awarded after wide market investigation, factory vertify, product inspection of Hydroelectric Equipment branch of China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association, and expert estimation and publication, it has considerable authority, in this field, there are only 16 factories who have gained it.

Our factory occupies 80000 square meters of land, which includes 30000 square meters workshop area, over 500 sets of heavy, precision and advanced producing and testing machinery. We have 500 staffs, in which there are more than 100 professional technical personnel, including 12 Senior engineers, 38 engineers, 5 high-class technicians and 26 technicians.
With these equipments and staffs the Company can produce 200MW hydro-power equipments per year and the main products include: 50KW—30000KW generators, hydraulic turbines (Kaplan/Axial flow, Tubular, Francis, Pelton, Inclined etc) . Till now the company has empoldered and produced more than 400 kinds of hydro-turbine and generator units, and more than 3000 sets are running at home and abroad.
