Charger in the Car
on board battery charger for lithium battery
It can be switched automatically
On-board charger is one charger which charges the power battery assembly of electric cars by adopting AC charge mode. AC charge mode is one mode which provides charge power supply for electric cars with three-phase or single-phase AC supply. The overall unit has features of light weight, small volume, etc and has been widely used in electric cars, electric forklift and golf trolley, etc.

Protection
Characteristics
1. Overheat protection: When the internal temperature of charger is more than 75°C, charge current decreases automatically; when it’s over 85°C, the charger will shut down protectively; while the temperature drops, the charger will recover charge automatically.
2. Short-circuit protection: When accident short circuit occurs to charger output, the charger will close output automatically; when the fault is eliminated, the charge will restart to charge after a ten-second delay.
3. Reverse connection protection: When the battery is connected reversely, the charger will cut off the connection between internal circuit and battery; it will not restart to charge so it will not have any damage.
4. Input low-voltage and over-voltage protection: When the input AC voltage is less than 85V or more than 265V, the charger will shut down protectively; when the voltage is normal, the charger will return to work automatically.
