The boiler consists of a membrane walled combustion chamber, 2 sets of steel plate type cyclone separator and a rear part vertical shaft wrapped with air-cooled wrapping wall.

Inside the combustion chamber, panel type heating surface, 4 pieces of pipe panels for panel type super-heater and 3 pieces of water-cooled evaporating panels are provided.

The boiler is provided with a total of 4 sets of coal-feeding devices and 2 preformed limestone-feeding ports. All the coal-feeding device and limestone-feeding port are situated at the front part of the boiler, and are evenly arranged in cross direction on the tapered section at the lower part of the water-cooled wall of the front part wall.

The bottom part of the combustion chamber is a water-cooled air chamber made of water screen tube. Air conduit igniters are arranged behind the water-cooled air chamber. There are 2 sets of air conduit igniters, and in each, one high capacity ignition oil burner is provided. At 2 sides of the combustion chamber, 2 sets of air and water-cooling mode optional fly provided. 2sets of cyclone separators are arranged between the combustion chamber and the rear part vertical shaft, and the lower part of each separator, one set of J type valve feed back device is provided.

In the rear part vertical shaft, light and low temperature super-heaters, coal economizer and horizontal type air pre-heater are provided from top to bottom successively.

In the super-heater system, 2-stage direct-contact desuperheater is provided.

The whole body of the boiler is arranged symmetrically at the left and right side, suspended on the steel frame of the boiler, which is a space frame with subposts at the both sides.

The structure feature of the boiler is the adoption of the newly researched and developed design and technology of <<High & Low Speed "M" Type Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler>> (hereinafter to be referred as M type boiler). The boiler has the merits of clean combustion with low pollutant emissin, and great reduction of wear of the heating surface.
It is so named as M type boiler, because the gas and smoke generated by the combustion of coal will pass 4 return runs: The hign temperature gas and smoke from coal burning flame go upward at high speed and then return to run downward to the bottom; they then turn upward again. At this time, under the centrifugal action at such turning of directions, the bigger sized fly ash grains are separated and drop into the low speed bed for burning. The gas and smoke generated at the high and low speed beds joint together and go upward and turn to horizontal flue on reaching the top, and they will then go through the rear flue to reach the bottom part of the boiler and then discharged into the chimney flue.The gas and smoke go through the 4 parallel return runs of up, down, up and down again, through which the complete processof ignition of the coal, combustion changing, separation, re-combustion, complete combustion, re-separation, circulation and cooling down.

The whole body of the boiler is arranged symmetrically at the left and right side, suspended on the steel frame of the boiler, which is a space frame with subposts at both sides.

The boiler has 2 independent air chamber water-cooled walls and combustion beds, which integrated into a water-cooled wall combustion chamber, it also consists of 4sets of steel plate type cyclone separator and a part vertical shaft wrapped with air-cooled wrapping wall.

Inside the combustion chamber, panel type heating surface in installed. The boiler is provided with 4 coal-feeding ports and 4 limestone-feeding ports. The coal-feeding ports locate at the front part of the boiler and the limestone-feeding ports locate at two sides of the boiler, and are evenly arranged in cross direction on the tapered section at the lower part of the water-cooled wall of the front part wall.

The bottom part of the combustion chamber is awater0cooled air chamber made of water screen tube, which is connected with the igniters under the bed via metal expansion joint. There are a total of 2 sets of air conduit igniters, and in each, one high capacity ignition oil burner is provided.

At two sides of the combustion chamber, 2 sets of air and water-cooling mode optional fly ash discharging and slag cooling devices for multiple chamber type fluidized beds are provided.

2 sets of cyclone separators are arranged at two sides of the combusion chamber, and at the lower part of each separator, one set of "J" type valve feed back vertical shaft consists of wall wrapping tube wall. The rear part chimney flue is provided with high temperature superheaters, re-heaters, coal economizer and rotation type air pre-heater from top to bottom successively.

In the superheater system, multiple-stage direct-contact desuperheater is provided. In the
reheater system, emergency direct contact desuperheater and spray desuperheater are installed.
